OUR STORY

IKARIA · EASTERN AEGEAN SEA
THE ISLAND
Ikaria is a long, narrow, mountainous island in the eastern Aegean Sea, where steep ridgelines rise straight from the coast. Dry summers and mild, wet winters have shaped a landscape that is still largely wild.
Its slopes are covered in heather, wild thyme, sage, rosemary, oregano, chamomile and seasonal wildflowers, blooming at different altitudes and in different months. For honeybees, that variety is everything: the pollen a hive gathers reflects whatever is flowering around it.

A LIVING TRADITION
Honey has been part of life on Ikaria for centuries, with records of production dating back to the early 15th century. Island beekeepers have long moved their hives with the seasons, following the bloom from the coast up into the mountains. We're inspired by that patience, and by a way of working that follows nature instead of rushing it.

WHY IKARIA
Dry summers and mild winters shape hardy, aromatic plants.
Flowers bloom at different altitudes, stretching the season.
Much of the island's vegetation still grows wild.
Hundreds of documented plant species, some unique to the Aegean.
Spring blossom, summer thyme, autumn heather.
Generations of knowledge about bees and the land.
We share Ikaria's landscape and heritage as the story behind our ingredient. We don't make claims about specific farms, certifications or exact pollen composition.

THE GOLDEN INGREDIENT
Bee pollen is gathered by honeybees from flowering plants and packed into tiny golden granules. Rich in amino acids, antioxidants and botanical compounds, it has long been treasured in beauty rituals.
In our formulas, it works alongside nourishing oils and butters to condition, moisturize and soften the skin for a smoother, more supple, glowing, fuller-looking finish.
